Our Sunday Morning Meeting attendance is made of people of all ages.
The meetings are open to Salvationist and Non-Salvationist worshipers who come together to worship God, by praying together, singing together and reading God’s Word together.
Our Songs (Hymns) are taken from The Salvation Army Songbook, Happiness & Harmony and also Songs of Fellowship.
Our Senior Choir (Songsters), Youth Choir (Singing Company) and Band take part every week which helps us to come nearer to God.
Part way through the meeting the youngsters go off to their Sunday School meeting (Kids Alive!).
The climax to the meeting is the preaching of the Word of God where we learn from the Bible, what it means to be a Christian today.
We also have an Outreach Programme after the morning meeting which the Senior Band attends; they go to Retirement Homes, General Hospital and various other locations within the Shirley area.
